Ice hockey skates in large size (11.5 US 45 european)

  • Rating: 5 after 1 vote
Since temperatures got a bit higher and i got better adjust to them i decided to pick up an old hobby and went to the ice skate ring in the park next to the TV tower, only to find out that the rental place has nothing any where near my shoe size...So does anyone has any experience in buying ice skates where could i go for a pair of speed skates in my size? And if anybody has experience with buying them what are the price ranges?

Hi Dennis,

I think indeed i did saw you, however we couldn't call it meeting.
If you do find a place that rents out size 10 skates let me know, because where i went even that was to big, I am a size 11.

Hi Gijs...I have been meaning to tell you I went skating right after China won the pairs skating at the Olympics at a place near the east gate (directly east on the north side of the street) of Beijing park in Shenyang......they had size 10 for me and somewhere a 10.5 but it could not be found......cost was 25 for 2 hours plus 10 rmb for the rental.....they have a large 400 metre track with badminton and basketball on the inner part........there also is a separate hockey arena in another building which I guess is for private rentals
