Hi all,
This is Diane from the U.S. I have just moved to Shenyang 4 days ago. I will be working in the financial district, near the building shaped like a coin. I am looking for a place to buy newspapers in English, China Post, China Daily, etc. any ideas?
I would also love a map of the city with major attractions, in English. I could use some help finding things like a fabric market with tailoring d=sevices, I am going to need to have a winter coat made. I shopped in such markets in Shanghai and Hong Kong, there must be something like that here. I also like to sew so I need all of the things that go along with that pursuit.
What about a cheapo knock-off market? Also, art supplies? A floral market? Eye glasses market? I guess I seem to need a lot, so all help is welcomed.
By the way, I am planning to go to IKEA in a couple of weeks, has anyone been there yet? Does anyone know where to buy imported beer other than Heineken or Bud? I like German and English beers.

There are two of best golf courses in Shenyang, one named Jiang Nan Golf Club south bank of the Hun He River, the other named Shen Jing Golf Club northeast of the city.

Greetings and salutations group. I am coming to Shenyang June 2. Have seen a lot of things of interest in Shenyang and have some questions. Are there any clothing stores that have western sized clothing? Is Heidi's as much fun as it looks? Is there a golf course in/near Shenyang?
