She knows how to create more than a haircut. She knows how to create a friendly atmosphere for socializing. Here Russian and European music, creativity and communication. I'm curious if any one has had a similar experience. I have total flexibility in my work, wherever I am is "home". I simply need reliable Internet and a phone.
I've been thinking of relocating to Shanghai for a year.
Here are my questions/concerns/worries/phobias/things that go bump in the night:
I work 9:00-17:00EST, but for me to work in Shanghai my day would be 21:00-5:00 leaving Daylight Savings time out of the variable. Has anyone tried that?
I would still be working for a US company, not doing any business in China not "Working" in China i.e. taking employment away from a Chinese. Any "issues" with that? Can I still maintain a "Tourist Visa", my purpose is still tourism!
I have a "Cloud" based in the US I can work through which would alleviate any issues with the "Great Fire Wall", but I find the throughput very unstable. I was in Wuhan and the wires were actually stolen from the street!
Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help,
Dennis

Comment by Anel Albertao on December 30, 2010 at 2:37am Hello-
My name is Anel and I will be moving to Shanghai soon with my husband. I am looking for an apartment in the or close to the Pudong area. Does anyone have any advice or contacts they can pass along?
