So, I like to eat. I like to eat good food. I'm not afraid to eat chicken feet, duck tounge and necks. I've started a group called Dongguan Foodies to arrange food related stuff in Dongguan. Feel free to join in and let us know where you find good eats in DG.

There is a fast food restaurant called Chaoji(超记) near my place New Century Garden serves very nice sausages(Guihua Chang桂花肠). You can order it as fast food, RMB 7 comes with rice, greens and a bowl of soup. Or you can order it on its own, RMB 28 a dish.

found 2 pretty good places for sechuan hot pot... (one is all you can eat for 35 rmb per person, not including drinks).... All of the normal stuff, plus pig brains (which are actually very good when cooked in the extremely spicy broth.... I will have to get the address translated for both of these places. One is in Dongchen, the other ?????? the dongchen one is open until 4AM... just the place to settle that alcohal filled bloodstream.

Just down the street is another little place (about 5 tables inside, with a few more on the sidewalk and street) which serves a terrific turtle rice soup... this place is also open until 2 or 3 am/
